Navigate the Dashboard
Use the sidebar to access different sections of the platform:

Rota Cycles
A rota cycle is a scheduling period (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). Each cycle contains shifts that need to be filled with staff members.
Shift Generation
The system automatically generates shift assignments based on staff availability, certifications, experience levels, and hour limits.
Approval Workflow
Once a rota is generated, it enters "submitted" status. A manager can then approve or reject it. Approved rotas become active.
Availability
Staff members can submit their availability for upcoming periods. The rostering system uses this information when generating assignments.
Every time you generate a rota, RotaMate automatically analyses it and shows you what needs attention.

Health Score

Full system access. Can manage all tenants, service providers, homes, staff, and settings.
Platform Admin
Manages the entire platform. Full access to Filament admin panel.
Group Admin
Manages a service provider. Can create homes, manage staff, generate rotas.
Home Manager
Manages a specific care home. Can approve rotas and manage operations.
Staff
Care workers. Can view shifts, submit availability, and manage their profile.

Group admins and home managers can approve rotas. Staff members can view proposed rotas but cannot approve them.
